Position Summary:

A Lead Data Engineer is a key figure in an organization, responsible for overseeing the architecture and management of data systems. They play a crucial role in ensuring that data is stored, processed, and utilized effectively, aligning with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles and the ability to apply them in a practical, business-focused context.

Job Duties:

  • Build, maintain, and upgrade Data Pipelines across client’s engagements.
  • Analyze Data pipelines and identify areas for quality improvement and standardization.
  • Contribute to innovation in Data Engineering and Integration domain by building accelerators and
    coming up with ideas for process improvement.
  • Design and implement data models that support the client’s business requirements.
  • Develop and implement robust data solutions to maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness,
    and consistency across datasets.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of data strategies aligned with client’s organizational
    goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • 8+ years in data engineering and analytics roles
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Airflow, DBT, and AWS or GCP.
  • Logical, structured, and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with different groups of individuals – a team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces – hard-working, organized, and results-orientedindividual.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Startup/e-commerce experience or passion is a bonus.
